Two People Found Dead Inside Brentwood Home Owned by Director Rob Reiner
LOS ANGELES — Authorities are investigating after two adults were found dead Sunday afternoon inside a Brentwood residence owned by veteran actor and director Rob Reiner, according to multiple law enforcement sources.
Officials with the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) confirmed that a man and a woman — believed to be approximately 78 and 68 years old — were discovered deceased inside the home. The identities of the individuals have not been released, and authorities have not confirmed their relationship to Reiner or whether they lived at the residence.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the property, located in the 200 block of Chadbourne Avenue on the west side of Los Angeles, at approximately 3:30 p.m. local time. Paramedics arrived first, followed shortly by officers from the Los Angeles Police Department, who secured the scene.
A spokesperson for the department said detectives from the LAPD Robbery-Homicide Division were also present at the home as part of the investigation. Officials have not released details regarding a cause of death and have not publicly indicated whether foul play is suspected.
Law enforcement activity was visible outside the Brentwood property throughout the afternoon and evening as investigators worked to gather information. Authorities declined to comment further, citing the ongoing nature of the case.
